DAY 2 : Excursion to Sham Valley

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel, then freshen up for an exciting day tour of Sham Valley. Your first stop is the Gurudwara Pather Sahib, a revered holy site for Tibetan Buddhists. Built in memory of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the gurudwara houses a rock believed to resemble the back of Guru Nanak Ji. Many devotees visit this sacred place to seek blessings, drawn by their deep faith in the rock's spiritual significance. Next, you’ll head to the famous Magnetic Hills, a globally renowned attraction. Surrounded by the majestic Himalayan mountains, the most intriguing aspect of this location is its mysterious optical illusion: vehicles here seem to move uphill, defying gravity. Come see it for yourself! Your journey continues to the Confluence of Zanskar and Indus rivers, where the two rivers meet. The distinct shades of green in the Indus and blue in the Zanskar create a stunning fusion of colors, making this spot a picturesque highlight. The next stop is Alchi Gompa, home to one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Ladakh. Finally, you’ll visit the Ladakh Hall of Fame, a museum built in tribute to the Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the Indo-Pak war.
